A WEE COUNTY attraction will re-open its doors this week to eager visitors.
The Japanese Garden at Cowden, Dollar will admit advanced ticket holders only this Thursday as it takes steps to recover from the pandemic-enforced closure.
The site was maintained by the chair of the trust, Sara Stewart and her nephew Rory Stewart for several weeks.
The duo followed strict instructions left by the professional gardeners.
Then, for the last two weeks, heroic volunteers have helped gardener, Rob Grindrod, who is back at Cowden, prepare the garden to open it to the public.
Entry will be restricted to 100 visitors in the morning and another 100 in the afternoon.
Strict guidelines including a one way system are in place for the safety of their visitors.
Refreshments will be limited to take away coffee, tea, ice cream and biscuits until the Tea Room is able to open again.
