Davina and Thomas McNeil marked their diamond wedding anniversary last week
A COUPLE in Fishcross celebrated 60 years of marriage earlier this month.
Diamond pair Thomas and Davina McNeil marked the milestone on Thursday, June 18, and received a call from Provost Tina Murphy.
Having met at a café in Alva the duo tied the knot at the local parish church on a beautiful day 60 years ago.
Guests enjoyed the reception at the Johnstone Arms in the Hillfoots town six decades ago.
Since then they had three sons, nine grandchildren and two grandchildren.
Over the years, Mr and Mrs McNeil enjoyed plenty of holidays and travelled the world – said to be their secret to a long and happy marriage.
