Police have warned car owners in the West End to remain vigilant after a number of vehicles in the area have been "tried".
The force are now also appealing to the public for information after a car was stolen from the Hyndland area yesterday morning.
They are urging anybody who may have seen something suspicious to come forward.
A statement reads: "Police are investigating the theft of a car from Hyndland in the early hours of Thursday morning.
"If you saw anyone acting suspiciously, let us know.
"There have also been two attempted thefts of cars; please be vigilant, and if you see anything suspicious call us asap."
