A probe has been launched to trace two men after a disturbance in Cambuslang on Saturday evening. 

A fight broke out between two men at around 7.10pm at a property in Lockhart Avenue. 

Police are now appealing to the public for information, where anybody with information is urged to come forward. 

The first man is described as white, in his late 20s and wearing a white top and a dark jacket.

The second is described as white, in his late 20s. He had no top on and was wearing grey shorts.

A man with a white top and facial injuries was seen in the area of Newton Railway Station shortly after the disturbance.

Detective Sergeant Kevin Clark of Lanarkshire CID said: “We are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the disturbance or anyone matching the descriptions of those involved to get in touch.

“We are also keen to hear from anyone who may have seen either man after the disturbance.”
