THREE men were arrested after Rangers beat Motherwell yesterday. 

Cops confirmed that the men, aged 20, 23 and 24 were arrested and charged in connection with "an incident" at Fir Park stadium.

The 23-year-old man is due to appear in court at a later date and was released on an undertaking. The two other men were fined.

Fans were not allowed in the stadium to watch yesterday's game, which saw Rangers win 5-1 over the Lanarkshire side.

Pictures posted to the Union Bears' Twitter account show the ultras' logo spraypainted on a wall outside the stadium.

Pictures appeared to show fans gathered outside the stadium with flares being let off. 

A spokeswoman for Police Scotland said: "Three men, aged, 20, 23 and 24 years old, have been arrested and charged in connection with an incident at Fir Park Stadium on Sunday.

"The 23-year-old man was released on an undertaking to appear at Hamilton Sheriff Court at a later date.

"The two men aged 20 and 24 years, were issued with Fixed Penalty Notices. 

"A full report has been forwarded to the Procurator Fiscal."
