CHARITIES and community groups in the Wee County will next month attend a virtual fair with funding organisations.

Clackmannanshire Third Sector Interface (CTSi) is once again hosting its annual Funders' Fair – utilising virtual spaces this time around due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

Two fairs, along with a virtual annual general meeting (AGM), will go ahead as part of Trustees' Week between November 2 and 6.

The virtual Funders' Fair will be a joint gig between CTSi, Stirling Voluntary Enterprise (SVE) and in partnership with Clackmannanshire and Stirling councils.

The fair, on Wednesday November 4, will see two sessions between 10am and 12noon as well as 1pm to 3pm.

Confirmed attendees include The Robertson Trust, The National Lottery Community Fund and Foundation Scotland.

Funders will be discussing their current strategies and a question and answer session will give Wee County good causes the chance to find out more.

Anthea Coulter, chief officer and business manager at CTSi, said: "This will offer a valuable opportunity to dispel any myths around what current funding is available and give you a chance to speak to the funders 'face to face'.

"Due the nature of the event places are limited, and there is a certain allocation for each geographical area.

"However, a recording will be made available following the event for those who are unable to attend."

The virtual AGM will be held the following day on Thursday, November 5, from 2pm.

Those attending will hear an update on CTSi's new strategy for the next three years and much more.

Speaking on the day will be Calum Irving, head of the Third Sector Unit at the Scottish Government.

For more detail, third sector representatives can email anthea.coulter@ctsi.org.uk or admin@ctsi.org.uk or call on 01259 213 840.

Questions for the fair can be submitted in advance by emailing julie.haslam@ctsi.org.uk or rachel@sventerprise.org.uk; alternatively ask on the day.

Registration will be available on Eventbrite; people can visit bit.ly/37llHEY for more information.
