CONTACT tracing is being carried out at a Wee County school after a positive coronavirus test.
Clackmannanshire Council have announced this afternoon (Monday) that the Test and Protect team at NHS Forth Valley is carrying out contact tracing activity at Tillicoultry Primary School.
The council said: "Initial information suggests the virus was contracted outside of the school and there is no evidence at this stage of any transmission within the premises.
"The individual who has tested positive for the virus is self-isolating at home along with the rest of their household.
"To respect and maintain patient confidentiality, no further details will be given.
"Close contacts of the individual have been identified and advised to self-isolate at home in line with guidance.
"Robust control measures were already in place in Tillicoultry Primary to protect the health of pupils and staff."
