TWO teenagers will be reported to the Children’s Reporting Authority following a fire at an abandoned property in Tillicoultry.
Forth Valley Police Division confirmed the 15-year-old boys had been interviewed and a report submitted following an incident of wilful fire-raising on Moss Road.
That incident took place on Friday, October 30, and led to a large section of the road being closed for seven hours while emergency services extinguished the blaze.
A statement from police, issued on Monday, November 9, said: “During the evening of Friday, October 30, an unoccupied house was wilfully set on fire in Moss Road, causing considerable damage to the property.
“After extensive enquiries, two 15-year-old males have been interviewed and a report is being submitted to the Children's Reporting Authority.”
