THE Farmers' Market in Stirling will return this weekend as traders gear up for the big Christmas push

Port Street will be abuzz again on Saturday as a total of 16 stalls pitch up from 10am.

Making a welcome return to the Farmers' Market this week is much-missed stallholder Allan's Chilli Products.

Their fantastic range of chilli jams, jellies and sauces haven't been on offer in Stirling since before lockdown.

Also on hand will be The Rookery's craft mead selection, featuring 12 flavours of the fermented honey drink that can trace its origins back over 45,000 years.

Many other stallholders will be offering gift hampers or selections as well and most are now taking orders for collection closer to Christmas.

At this week's market there will also be fresh fish, award winning cheeses, breads and scones, Ayrshire vegetables, free range eggs, Lebanese deli as well as sausage rolls, fruit wines and ciders, cakes and a bit of Ochil fudge.

Stirling Farmers' Market is held on Port Street on the second and fourth Saturdays of every month between 10am and 4pm.
