A STAFF member at a shop in Tullibody has tested positive for coronavirus.
Scotmid confirmed there has been a case of Covid-19 at their shop at 55 Alloa Road.
The company also provided reassurance that precautionary measures were in place to keep everyone safe.
A spokesperson told the Advertiser: "I can confirm that there has been a single positive case of Covid-19 at our store in Tullibody.
"The store has already undergone a deep clean and we are closely monitoring the situation.
"We will take any further action necessary, in accordance with Scottish Government and Health and Safety guidelines.
"All our staff, except those who are exempt, wear face coverings and have access to hand washing facilities and sanitiser behind the tills.
"Any colleagues who have to self-isolate are always supported in doing so."
