A MAN will be reported to the procurator fiscal following a dozen thefts from vehicles in Alloa.
Forth Valley Police Division confirmed the 26-year-old would be reported to prosecutors in relation to incidents occurring between October 28 and November 1 this year.
The 12 thefts took place in several areas of the town, including Hutton Park and Forebraes.
The man will also be reported in relation to a theft at Mary Place, Clackmannan, in December 2018.
Detective Inspector Norrie Petrie said: "Police Scotland is committed to tackling acquisitive crime and ensuring that those responsible face the consequences of their actions, regardless of the passage of time.
“We will use all available options to us to detect crimes when they occur.
"Anyone who sees or hears any unusual or suspicious behaviour is asked to contact police on 101, ideally at the time it occurs."
To keep vehicles secure, Police Scotland advises locking all items inside the car out out sight, never leaving valuables on display.
