Book group Readers on the Run from Alloa will appear on The Big Scottish Book Club this weekend
A BOOK group from the Wee County is to appear on TV this weekend.
Readers on the Run, from Alloa, will feature in the sixth episode of The Big Scottish Book Club on BBC Scotland this Sunday, November 29.
The programme will see writer Damian Barr hosting from Hamilton Town House.
On the show, author Graeme Armstrong will recall his own experience of teenage gangs in Lanarkshire, which feature in his debut novel The Young Team.
And Readers on the Run will be telling Damian what they thought of the book with the programme broadcast at 10pm on the night.
