TEMPERATURES are set to drop below zero in areas of the Wee County tonight. 

Dollar and Tillicoultry are expected to see temperatures of -4 according to the Met Office’s forecast prediction throughout the night of Friday, January 8.

Alloa, Alva and Clackmannan are predicted to have temperatures of -3 at some point. 

However, the weather is to pick up as the weekend continues, with Clackmannan reaching a high of seven degrees on Sunday. 

Across central Scotland, the Met Office website states this evening will be dry with clear skies, and the rest of the night will be dry and clear with widespread frost. 

Saturday will see some early brightness across the east of central Scotland, with maximum temperature to hit four degrees.
