PLANS for a wellbeing centre in Alva have been lodged with Clackmannanshire Council.

Optimise Therapies is looking to change the use of an existing building on Stirling Street from a shop to a wellbeing centre.

Proposals are for a yoga studio, to be used for low impact fitness classes, as a meditation space, teaching area as well as a space for seminars and events.

No structural modifications are required and the studio would be open between 8am and 6pm every day of the week except Sunday.

The studio space also includes toilets, an office and two storage rooms.
