THE Kincardine Bridge will be closed overnight this week due to works on the crossing's footpath.
Traffic will be diverted via the Clackmannanshire Bridge, beginning tonight (Monday, March 15), to allow Transport Scotland’s operating company BEAR Scotland to upgrade decorative lanterns that light the footpath.
The bridge will be closed from 8pm until 5.30am each night, from Monday to Friday.
Outwith these times, the Kincardine Bridge will remain open in both directions.
Strict physical distancing protocols are in place to protect teams and ensure they remain safe on site, in line with Scottish Government guidance.
Real time journey information is available from Traffic Scotland on www.trafficscotland.org, on the mobile site my.trafficscotland.org or by following @trafficscotland on Twitter.
