PLANS have been lodged with Fife Council for a Costa Coffee drive-thru and a gym in Dalgety Bay.
In February agents Architecture Design Ltd revealed blueprints for the Donibristle Industrial Park site, where the Fleming Building used to stand.
A formal planning application has now been submitted by Cuppacoff Ltd, of London, for a Costa Coffee on the ground floor and a new "up and over" gym for the rest of the building.
Architecture Design previously told the Press: “We’ve designed a two-storey building: on the ground floor is a Costa Coffee drive-thru and on the other side is a gym that goes up the side and then over the top of the Costa – we think that makes it an up and over?!”
Planning permission for the drive-thru was granted in July 2019 but now the applicants are looking to add to the development, which would include 52 parking spaces and outdoor seating.
The drive-thru will sit beside the £4 million Dalgety Bay Gateway’s flagship Aldi supermarket, which opened in June 2019.
