A MAN from Greater Manchester was caught driving while banned in Alloa.
It was his second conviction for driving while disqualified.
Darren Scott, 45, of Mather Street, Atherton, appeared for sentencing at Alloa Sheriff Court on Thursday, April 8.
He had previously admitted that on April 6, 2019, on Hiltonhawk Way, Alloa, he drove while disqualified.
Scott, who was representing himself, said from the dock: "There's no excuse. I should never have done it. I have to take the consequences."
Sheriff Craig Harris pointed out to Scott he had committed the same offence in 2018.
He imposed a community payback order with 180 hours of unpaid work and 18 months of supervision.
He also banned Scott from driving for 22 months.
