A DRIVER was racially abused following a road rage incident in Clacks, police have said.
Officers are appealing for witnesses to come forward following an incident in Tillicoultry earlier this month.
At around 2.30pm on Saturday, April 3, a white van heading east on the A91 between Alva and Tillicoultry overtook a red Reliant Robin and a cyclist, causing vehicles travelling westbound to take evasive action in order to avoid a collision.
Shortly afterwards, an "assault" was said to have taken place between the drivers of the vehicles at Stoneyacre in Tillicoultry, during which time the driver of the Reliant Robin was allegedly racially abused.
However, anyone who might have information is asked to call 101 quoting incident number 2910 on April 3, 2021, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
