A 30-year-old man caught drug-dealing in Alloa has been jailed.
Liam McLelland also made threats to police officers, saying he was going to spit in their eyes.
McLelland, of Kittoch Street, East Kilbride, appeared at Alloa Sheriff Court via video-link from prison, to be sentenced for a series of offences.
On February 21, at Greenhead, Alva, he was in possession of Etizolam with intent to supply it to others.
He then repeatedly made threats to police officers, threatened to spit in their eyes, repeatedly struck his head against the inside of a police van and repeatedly spat in there.
He also breached bail by entering Alva on February 21, having been banned from doing so on November 5.
Sheriff Craig Harris said the drug involved presented a "scourge" to the local community and "anyone involved in supplying it can expect little sympathy from the courts".
He then jailed McLelland for 260 days, backdated to February 22.
