A WELL-KNOWN Alloa lady has last week marked her 100th birthday.
The town's Jean Hendrie observed the milestone last Friday, April 16, and was later joined by well-wishers from Alloa Bowling Club, where she has been a long-term member.
Originally from Tranent, East Lothian, Jean moved to the Wee County with her late husband Drew in 1968.
Drew was also an avid bowler, serving as green convener before he sadly passed away.
Together they raised three sons, and Jean also has four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Joining the birthday lady at Alloa Bowling Club for a socially-distanced picture were president George Barr, vice president Rita McNeil as well as other friends from the club with thanks going to John Smith for capturing the moment.
