Kevin Guthrie has been dropped by the BBC as the voice of Inside Central Station.
It comes after the 33-year-old actor was convicted of sexually assaulting an actress at a trial in Glasgow Sheriff Court.
The broadcaster confirmed Guthrie will not narrate the third series of the popular show which is due to air this year, the Daily Record reports.
The production for the show is currently paused "until the station gets a bit busier", a spokeswoman for BBC Scotland said.
She added: “We’ve not decided on a narrator for the series but it won’t be Kevin Guthrie.”
Series three was originally meant to be broadcast this spring.
The actor is due to be sentenced next month.
