Two men have been arrested and charged in connection with drug offences and road traffic offences.
Motherwell road traffic officers stopped a vehicle on the M80 on Saturday afternoon around 4.20pm.
The vehicle was searched after officers smelled drugs in the car which led to the recovery of Class B drugs worth around £5000.

Both of the men have been released and reported to the Procurator Fiscal.
Road Police Scotland confirmed in a tweet: "As part of our proactive patrols this evening #MotherwellRP stopped a vehicle on the #M80 near to #Auchenkilns.
"Due to the smell of drugs in the car the occupants and vehicle were searched with £5k of Class B drugs recovered, and occupants arrested."
