A WEE COUNTY youth became involved in selling drugs to his friends, a court has heard.
The teenage dealer, who cannot be named for legal reasons, appeared in the dock at Alloa Sheriff Court.
He admitted that on December 3 last year, at his home in Sauchie, he was in possession of a controlled drug, cannabis, with intent to supply.
The court was told that the youth became involved in supplying cannabis to his friends.
The 17-year-old was caught with drugs with a potential value of £690.
Defence solicitor Alastair Ross said: "He appears to have recognised the lesson of his ways and this was a salutary lesson for him."
Sheriff Craig McSherry imposed a community payback order with 12 months of supervision.
