AN ALLOA man accessed the social media account of his former partner and shared her private messages.
James McDonald, 21, of Colville Gardens, appeared at Alloa Sheriff Court, on Thursday, July 22, by video-link from prison.
He admitted a charge of, having been placed on a home curfew, he failed to answer the door to police on May 5, as required by his bail conditions.
He also admitted that on May 5, at The Braes, Tullibody, he accessed a social media account belonging to his former partner and took a screenshot of a private message then shared it on social media, all without her permission.
The court heard the couple had been in a five-year relationship which had ended around 18 months ago.
Sheriff Pino di Emidio imposed a community payback order with one year of supervision, 80 hours of unpaid work and also a non-harassment order for six months.
