AN ALVA woman has been jailed for a series of offences committed in Perth.
Samantha Brown, 25, of Westhaugh Travellers Site, appeared at Alloa Sheriff Court via video-link from prison.
Brown had breached Covid regulations, twice been caught shoplifting, then ignored a court order banning her from Perth.
She was re-sentenced after breaching a tagging order imposed by the court in Perth.
She had admitted that on April 19, at Scott Street, Perth, she gave a false name to police and attempted to pervert the course of justice.
On the same day, at Scott Street, she contravened coronavirus regulations by twice gathering in a house during Level Four restrictions.
On the same say at Morrisons, St Catherine's Retail Park, Perth, she stole a quantity of alcohol and soft drink.
On May 10, at Home Bargains, St Catherine's Retail Park, Perth, she stole food, drinks and cleaning products.
She also breached a court order banning her from entering Perth.
Defence solicitor Kelly Howe said there was a background of alcohol and substance misuse as well as mental health issues.
Sheriff Craig Harris revoked the court orders and jailed Brown for 150 days.
