RESIDENTS across Forth Valley have been warned to stay vigilant following reports of a Covid-19 vaccine pass scam.
Police Scotland have issued the warning after a report of a person being scammed out of money.
They were sent a text message with a link which they were advised to click on.
This took them to an information page where they were asked to include bank account details and then had money taken from their account.
Police are advising people to stay vigilant and stated no text or email from the NHS in relation to any Covid-19 related matter will ever request banking details.
The messages can look convincing so people are advised to take five minutes to consider what is being asked.
Anyone with information can contact Police Scotland on 101 or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
