Reckless Intent Wrestling will return to Tillicoultry

Reckless Intent Wrestling is set for a show at Tillicoultry's Devonvale Hall on Saturday, October 30.

Doors will open at 6.30pm with the first bell at 7pm on the night.

It will be the first family friendly wrestling event at the hall, which was upgraded in the past 18 months, since November 2019 with organisers and talent buzzing for the return.

Tillicoultry man and Reckless Intent director Keiran Ure told the Advertiser it has been a tough period for the wrestling promotion.

However, the blows inflicted by the pandemic were dampened by the Reckless Intent Pro Wrestling School in Livingston, which has managed to grow over the past more than a year.

Keiran said: "We are reinvesting quite a bit of money back into the business to try and just tidy up the edges with new ring ropes, new canvas etc.

"We came out of it [the pandemic] with quite a lot of new students, some of them will be debuting shows in the very-very near future."

Looking forward to the return of live wrestling shows, Keiran added: "The guys are really-really excited to come back to Tillicoultry, especially because technically, Tillicoultry is our big show, it's quite a sizeable hall.

"We are trying to book a few well-known names for the show, but they will be confirmed nearer the time.

"Because everything is starting up now everybody is very-very busy, every promotion is Scotland is trying to capitalise on the fact that live shows have been away for such a long time."

Already confirmed to appear on the night in Tillicoultry is Reckless Intent heavyweight champion Theo Doros, Jack Morris, Dickie Divers, Aspen Faith and more.

Reckless Intent seeks to offer a family-friendly wrestling experience and will also be holding a show in Livingston at the at Murieston Scout Hall on November 27.
