THREE artists with very different approaches have come together for an exhibition in Aberlady.

Adele Pound, Lorna Hamilton and Melanie Mascarenhas are three up-and-coming wildlife artists and winners of a Society of Wildlife Artists bursary.

A spokesperson for the Scottish Ornithologists’ Club, which is hosting the ‘Wild Moments’ exhibition at Waterston House, said: “Their approaches are very different, but they share an ambition to capture a whole world in their work.

“They are quite experimental and use unusual ways of portraying wildlife through graphic stories, for example, or by attempting to capture sounds and movement in paint.

“The resulting works present wildlife in a wider context, that of a narrative or multi-dimensional landscapes.”

The exhibition opens next Thursday (September 30) and runs until November 7. The gallery is open Wednesday-Sunday, 10am-4pm.
