A TRAINING day took place in the Wee County recently for the Ochils Mountain Rescue Team.
The team travelled to Alva Glen on Sunday, November 7 for a training day to refresh their skills and practice in the case of an emergency.
Team members refreshed their medical knowledge in four scenarios over the day.
Ross MacIntyre, OMRT secretary, said the day was a great way of refining their skills.
He told the Advertiser: "The team was undertaking a number medial scenarios around Alva Glen.
"Team medics acted as casualties with team members providing emergency care in the treatment of broken bones, breathing difficulties and cardiac arrest.
"All team members are experienced first aiders with most undertaking additional qualifications to provide advanced treatment in addition to our doctor and paramedic team members.
"[The day] was a great way of refining the skills of everyone in a hill environment."
