AN ALLOA man kicked the door of a pharmacy causing £500 worth of damage.
Sean Akande, 34, of Bowhouse Gardens, appeared in the dock at Alloa Sheriff Court.
He admitted that on 16th September last year at Well Pharmacy, High Street, Alloa, he kicked a door causing the glass to crack.
He also admitted he shouted and swore in the store.
The court was told Akande became irate after being told about changes to his prescription.
He started shouting, swearing then left kicking a door, which resulted in a glass panel being cracked. Police on patrol were passing and saw the incident.
The damage cost £500 to repair.
Defence solicitor Pol Clementsmith said: “He’s not a particularly stable individual.”
Sheriff Neil Bowie told Akande:, “This was totally unacceptable.
"Threatening behaviour towards staff and customers because you were unhappy about your prescription.”
He imposed a community payback order with 12 months of supervision.
He also ordered Akande to pay £500 compensation.
