AN ALLOA woman twice attacked police officers after calling them to her home in 999 calls.

Donna Carrie was also involved in another incident where she attacked a woman in the street when intoxicated.

Carrie, 23, of Tay Court, appeared in the dock at Alloa Sheriff Court last Thursday, January 13.

She admitted that on June 3, at her home, she assaulted a police officer by repeatedly kicking him on the lower body.

She also admitted she assaulted a second officer by repeatedly punching her on the head.

Carrie further admitted that on July 23, at Devon Road, Alloa, she assaulted a female by seizing her head and throwing her to the ground to her injury.

Depute fiscal Katherine Fraser said the first incidents occurred after Carrie had repeatedly called 999 then became aggressive when police arrived at her home.

This happened at 3am and again at around 5am. On the first occasion she had ended up attacking an officer by kicking him on the knee repeatedly.

She was not arrested as she had a child in the house and then officers returned after another call two hours later. Carrie attacked a female officer by punching her three times to the head.

In the other incident, Carrie attacked a female in the street by lunging at her, grabbing her hair and pulling her to the ground.

The other woman ended up on top of Carrie who still kept a tight grip of her hair, added the depute.

Officers in the area saw the disturbance and went to break it up. They had to prise Carrie's grip off and there were clumps of hair lying on the ground.

Defence solicitor Kelly Howe said there had been a "significant deterioration" in her client's mental health at the time and the woman she attacked was a former friend.

Sheriff Neil Bowie imposed a community payback order with 18 months of supervision and 75 hours of unpaid work.
