A CLACKS road will be closed for five nights later this month for essential surface repairs.
The A876 approach to Kilbagie Roundabout will be closed in both directions between 7.30pm and 6am for five nights beginning on Monday, March 21.
The closure will be in place to allow 830 metres of carriageway to be resurfaced.
A clearly signed diversion route will be in place between Higgins Neuk Roundabout and Kilbagie Roundabout.
Traffic wishing to cross the Clackmannanshire Bridge will be diverted across the Kincardine Bridge via the A977.
All traffic management will be removed out with working hours and access for emergency vehicles will be maintained at all times.
Tommy Deans, BEAR Scotland’s South East network manager, said: “These surfacing improvements will greatly improve the surface for motorists using this stretch of the A876.
“We thank motorists and the local community in advance for their patience while we carry out this project. We’ll do all we can to complete the work as quickly and safely as possible.”
