EFFORTS continue to trace a Tullibody man gone missing a week ago.

Officers are re-appealing for public help in tracing Kenneth Wessels, who went missing from the town on Wednesday, May 4.

The 61-year-old left the Newbiggin Crescent area of Tullibody around 4.45am.

It has been established that he has then driven his black Toyota Yaris car, registration SF14 DCT, to Carsebridge Road in Alloa.

There was a further sighting of Kenneth in the Gartmorn Dam area later in the same afternoon.

A reported sighting of Kenneth at Tullibody Health Centre has been ruled out following investigations.

Inspector Andrew Angus said: “I would like to thank everyone who has helped so far in our efforts to trace Kenneth.

“Unfortunately, following enquiries we’ve concluded the sighting at Tullibody Health Centre was not Kenneth and the search for him is ongoing.”
