CONCERNS are growing for a Tullibody man who remains missing more than two weeks after he was last seen.

Officers have again renewed an appeal for help from the public in a bid to trace missing Kenneth Wessels, who was last seen on Wednesday, May 4.

The 61-year-old left Newbiggin Crescent in Tullibody at around 4.45am that day.

Enquiries have established that he has driven his black Toyota Yaris, registration SF14 DCT, to Carsebridge Road in Alloa.

Police explained he then left his car and walked in the direction of Jellyholm Road and Gartmorn Dam.

Extensive enquiries have been ongoing since, but Kenneth is yet to be traced.

Inspector Phil McIntosh said: “We are very concerned about Kenneth and we would urge anyone with information that hasn’t already been reported to police to get in touch.

“Extensive enquiries are ongoing and we are keeping Kenneth’s family informed as our search continues.

“I would like to thank everyone who has helped so far in our efforts to trace Kenneth.”

Kenneth is described as white, 6ft tall, of a medium build, clean shaven with short grey hair.

He was wearing a yellow long-sleeved high-visibility jacket, blue jeans and was carrying a dark coloured rucksack.

It is understood the Tullibody man has links to Brighton, the Falkland Isles, St Andrews and Aberdeen.

Inspector McIntosh added: “Anyone who has any information regarding his whereabouts should contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting reference 1083 of 4 May, 2022.”
