THERE was a great turnout at the weekend as a Wee County bowling club held an annual competition.
Saturday, July 16 saw the Annual Invitation Pairs competition take place at Paton's Bowling Club.
With the the sun shining brightly, the final was won by Jim Flannagan and Amy Thomson who beat Jim Bolton and Rab Allen.
The event was sponsored by Roy & McIntyre's Funeral Home and the prizes were handed out by Tommy Roy, along with the Bowling Club's president Brian Ramsey and treasurer Rab Docherty.
