A BARMAID was injured after being punched in an Alloa pub.
The assault was committed by 25-year-old Fraser MacDonald, of Bridge Terrace, Alloa.
MacDonald appeared for sentencing at Alloa Sheriff Court.
He previously admitted that on December 11, at Drysdale and Sons, Drysdale Street, he assaulted a barmaid by punching her on the head to her injury.
Sheriff Neil Bowie had previously called for a supplementary social work report on possible mental health issues.
Sheriff Bowie told MacDonald: "This was an unpleasant assault on a young woman working as a barmaid. All because you took exception to a reasonable request from her.
"You also have a previous conviction for assault."
The sheriff imposed a community payback order with 18 months of supervision and 60 hours of unpaid work
