AN ORGANISATION helping families in conflict co-operate has moved its main office.

Family Mediation Central Scotland (FMCS), previously located at Murray Place in Stirling, has moved its main office to Main Street in Cowie.

However, the provision of contact centres and mediation services remain the same with the organisation normally using Alloa Family Centre in the Wee County as a neutral ground for separated parents.

Family mediation is a voluntary process in which a qualified, impartial mediator helps family members to communicate more effectively.

The contact centres safe, friendly and supportive places for children to spend time with a parent they do not live with.

For a free initial appointment and more information about FMCS, people can visit fmcentral.org or call 01786 472 984.

If services are required after the initial appointment, costs will then apply, which may be covered by legal aid in some cases.
