A TEENAGER was caught carrying a machete through Alloa.
The 17-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, appeared in the dock at Alloa Sheriff Court for sentencing last Thursday, September 15.
She previously admitted that on November 30, at in Argyll Street, and on a footpath near the Leisure Bowl, she was unlawfully in possession of a red-handled machete.
Sheriff Neil Bowie said the offence was a serious one but noted that the girl had no previous convictions.
In sentencing, he fined her £210.
