Autumn has officially begun and with Halloween just around the corner, you might be wondering how you can celebrate the occasion near Worcester this year.

Whether you’re keen to pick your own pumpkins or to take a spooky walk, look no further.

We’ve rounded up some of the Halloween events happening near you in 2022.

Halloween events near Worcester 2022

Spooky Spectacular

Where: West Midland Safari Park (WMSP)

When: October 22 to 30

You can look forward to visiting the pumpkin patch, meeting Patch the scarecrow and you can try to find the missing potions along the Scratchcard Trail.

If you like magic, you’re in luck as there’s plenty of fun to be had at Patch’s Spooky Magic Show with spooky spells.

The Haunted Castle

Where: Warwick Castle

When: October 22 to 31

Navigate mazes and watch spooky entertainment with all the family at Warwick Castle this Halloween.

The attraction also has a Haunted Hallows trail, Castle After Dark and true stories will be told in The Castle Dungeon.

Halloween at Drayton Manor Resort

 

Where: Drayton Manor Resort

When: October 22 to 30

Whether you’re visiting with little ones or being a big kid for Halloween, Drayton Manor has plenty for you to see and do this October.

During Pumpkin Smash Bash you’ll be able to use the rides and visit the Castle of Spooks and Halloween characters will be walking around too.

Thomas Land will be decorated for the occasion and there will be entertainment and access to the rides.

Night at the Manor is another event happening on the following dates: October 22, 23, 28 and 29.

The Castle of Dreams, a spooky ride on The Haunted Express and the Hunt for Zebediah are also some of the attraction’s events.

A fireworks display with a Halloween theme is set to take place on October 30 where you’ll see 10 minutes of fireworks while listening to themed music.

Scarefest

Where: Alton Towers

When: October 7 to 9 and 14 to 31

Join in with the creepy thrills at Alton Towers this October as it celebrates 15 years of the event.

Rides will be open after dark and you'll be able to visit the Alton Towers Dungeon and embark on the Garden Lights Walk: Whispering Souls if you dare.

Churchfields Pumpkin Festival

Where: Churchfields Farm, Droitwich

When: October 22 to 30

Pick your own pumpkins and carve them at the farm during the festival, leaving all the mess behind you.

While you’re there you can also navigate the Ghostly Maize Maze, watch interactive performances and even give pedal tractors a go.

From October 1 and 2, the farm is giving you the opportunity to pick your own pumpkin so you can join in the Halloween fun before the festival too.

Stanley’s Farm Shop

Where: Kidderminster

Vegetables are now available at Stanley’s Farm Shop, whether you’d like to buy them at the shop already picked or pick them yourself out in the field.

Pumpkins are available to buy in October.
