Titled Planes, Trains and… Submarines?, the show comprises of three short plays performed by members of the drama club.

The comedy skits, called Look Away Now, I’m On A Train and Sub Contract will have a festive spin on them in the run up to Christmas.

Jane McGill, committee member for the drama club, spoke about giving the night a Christmas feel to it.

She said: “Since it’s coming up for Christmas, we decided to make the sketches more Christmassy.

“The longer shows aren’t really festive, they’re still funny, but they don’t have a festive side to them.

“Since Covid, we’ve set up tables where people could come in groups, bring refreshments and enjoy the shows.

“That went down a treat, it was a really nice evening so we decided to do it again.”

Additional sketches will be performed by Damian Sherwood-Johnson, Elaine Stark, Stephen Lambert, and Jane herself.
