A REMINISCENCE group session is set to go ahead in Clackmannanshire for the first time in December.
The session will go ahead on Friday, December 2, at the Speirs Centre's mezzanine in Alloa.
Part of the Memories Scotland project, which started in 2019 but was delayed due to the pandemic, the session will contribute to a part of a project, which will create a database of local history images online.
The group is also a place to share memories about the Wee County in a project supported by the Scottish Government Public Library Improvement Fund, the Scottish Library & Information Council (SLIC), the Scottish Football Museum and Alzheimer Scotland.
The session will go ahead from 10.30am to 12noon with tea, coffee and biscuits available.
There are 20 spaces and booking is required by calling the Speirs Centre on 01259 452262.
While this will be the first session of its kind, there are hopes to do more depending on the popularity and success of the first instance.
