POLICE have handed out warnings for to three HGV drivers near Kincardine for tyre and load security issues.
The vehicles were issued with immediate prohibitions and may have been immobilised, meaning the owners must solve problems raised and pay an £80 release fee.
Working with DVSA enforcement, officers also gave delayed prohibitions – the level depends on how dangerous faults are – for suspension defects, and Defect Forms for other minor concerns.
The road policing team posted online: FifeRP were working alongside DVSA Enforcement today near Kincardine. Three HGVs issued with immediate prohibitions for tyre and load security issues plus delayed prohibitions for suspension defects and Defect Forms for other minor defects."
