REDWELL Primary’s pop-up café had a visit from a special guest as Annie the alpaca made her way out to see the children.

The Honey Pot café is run from within the school and is organised by P4-P7 pupils who open it up to parents and the local community.

On Thursday, February 2, the parent council held a special café to say thank you to a number of people who had supported Redwell.

The aim of the café was to commend everyone who had donated items for Christmas hampers which were handed out to families in need.

The pop-up was attended by the parent council, school volunteers, local businesses and community champions from supermarkets.

Members of the Alpaca Trekking Centre at Thornhill made their way down and brought Annie with them to see the café and interact with the children and guests.
