CAST members from Alloa Musical Players had the opportunity to visit Forth Valley College’s sound production studios to record additional audio for their show.

The stars of the upcoming production Little Shop of Horrors utilised the studios in Stirling to create tricky sound effects.

They were helped by Barry Frame, a lecturer for the Creative Industries course, who instructed the cast on how to record atmospheric tracks to enhance their show, set to premier at Alloa Town Hall from March 1-4.

Rob McDermott, FVC’s quality manager and a member of Alloa Players, was glad to see the relationship between the theatre and the college be utilised to it’s fullest.

He said: “It’s great to continue the long-standing relationship between the College and Alloa Players, especially as this is the first year that we have been on stage since pre-pandemic.

“A number of cast members have been staff and students.

“Barry and his team did a great job and it will definitely add to the spectacle of which is already shaping up to be a great show.”
