HOUSE prices in Stirling fell slightly over the last 12 months, recent figures show.
The average property sale in Scotland increased by around £14,800 – or 7 per cent – between December 2021 and December 2022.
However, in Stirling the average sale fell by 0.7 per cent, from £266,366 to £264,379.
Indeed, the area is said to be one of only three areas of Scotland to see sale averages fall.
In neighbouring Clackmannanshire, house prices rose from £174,191 to £191,577 – an increase of £17,386; whereas in Falkirk sales rose from £174,974 to £188,881 - around 7.9 per cent.
The figures were derived through an analysis of the Scottish house price index by Walker Fraser Steele.
