ALDI has confirmed it is looking to fill a number of vacancies in the Forth Valley area.

The supermarket chain announced it was looking to hire 21 new members of staff between its Stirling and Falkirk stores.

This includes full-time and part-time positions, covering roles such as caretaker, store assistant and deputy manager.

Pay rates start at £11 an hour for store assistants, officials confirmed.

The recruitment push forms part of Aldi’s nationwide expansion drive, with the supermarket opening a number of new stores across the UK in the next year.

It is is also currently recruiting for 450 jobs at its 11 Regional Distribution Centres up and down the country.
