A CARE worker refused to give a man water when he asked for it and spoke to him in a derogatory way, a court has heard.
David Williamson acted aggressively towards the man he was supposed to be looking after and used excess force when moving him.
Williamson, 54, of Manse Road, Caputh, Perthshire, appeared in the dock at Alloa Sheriff Court last Thursday, February 16.
He admitted that between December 21, 2020, and January 22, 2021, at Chestnut Lane, Tullibody, as a care worker for a man, he ill-treated or wilfully neglected him.
He acted in an aggressive manner, spoke to him in an intimidating and derogatory manner, purposefully disrupted his daily routines, refused him water when requested, issued medication before exhausting other methods available and repeatedly used more force than was necessary to move him.
Sheriff Neil Bowie called for reports and Williamson will be sentenced on March 23.
