AN ALLOA man has been warned he is on his final chance of avoiding jail after breaching a court order.

Jason Russell, 38, of Woodside Road, had been sentenced last year for stealing a bottle containing money from his aunt's house.

He found himself back in the dock at Alloa Sheriff Court for breaching the order.

He had previously admitted that on October 21, 2021 at Lewis Court, Alloa, he stole a bottle containing a quantity of money.

Russell was caught red-handed, having gone into his aunt's home when she was in bed.

Her partner returned home to find an intoxicated Russell in the house. He then ran off with the bottle but was stopped.

Russell was originally sentenced a community payback order with nine months of supervision but missed most of his appointments.

Sheriff Neil Bowie revoked that order and replaced it with a 60-day restriction of liberty order.

The sheriff told Russell: "This is your last opportunity to deal with this matter and move on. If you don't comply you can expect custody."
