A TEENAGE driver failed to stop for police then turned off his headlights and drove at excessive speeds in Alloa.
Dylan Allan made matters worse for himself by not turning up for sentencing at Alloa Sheriff Court last Thursday, March 2.
Allan, 19, of Sir George Bruce Road, Oakley, had admitted that on July 24, in Broad Street, Alloa, he drove a car without insurance and he failed to stop for police.
He then drove carelessly at excessive speed and turned the headlights off while driving.
Allan was not in court for sentencing and Sheriff Neil Bowie was unimpressed by the reason given that he had gone to Liverpool looking for work.
The sheriff granted a warrant for his arrest.
