STUDENTS can take advantage of ScotRail’s half-price offer as the bumper discount has returned this week.
From Monday, March 27 to Sunday, April 30, college and university students will be able to enjoy 50% off all journeys.
This discount will be available on all off-peak tickets, with the exception on super off-peak day return tickets.
Students must show up to a staffed ticket office with a valid student photo ID to purchase tickets. Alternatively, tickets can be bought on board from conductors.
Claire Dickie, ScotRail head of retail, said: “We’re delighted to pass on savings to students in Scotland once again, with the return of our half-price offer this spring.
“With the longer days returning, it’s the perfect time to explore Scotland or take a well-earned break from studies and head into town with friends.
“Our half-price ticket offer will help students make the most of spring and Easter.”
Customers who buy off-peak return tickets will have up to one month to use the return portion of their ticket – up to Monday, May 29 for tickets purchased on April 30.
